Uganda Uranium Not For Nuclear Bomb Making - Museveni

museveni21.jpgPresident Yoweri Museveni has reiterated that Uganda’s uranium resource will not be for nuclear bomb making but for energy production, as per news from the Uganda Media Center. The President, who is currently in Eastern Uganda to launch the patriotism programme in secondary schools, was yesterday commissioning another group of 140 teachers from the Elgon sub-region at Mbale School for the Deaf in Bungokho South Constituency in Mbale district.

mtn1.gifMTN Uganda has launched m-banking service, enabling its subscribers to transfer money using their mobile phones. MTN Uganda CMO Isaac Nsereko said they have over 600 transaction points across the country where money can be sent or received and the service will work across networks. The subscriber have to open a mobile account with MTN
