ILI now accepts payments for publications and seminars by credit cards.

For fifty years the International Law Institute has worked to address the challenges faced by the international community by promoting economic development and rule of law.

Nearly 15,000 individuals from more than 185 countries and territories have attended training programs at ILI's Washington, DC headquarters and in various countries around the world. In addition to its training programs, the Institute presents conferences and colloquia, sponsors visiting scholars and research programs, and publishes books on international legal subjects.

As you browse through this site, you can find information on any of our activities that interest you. You can learn about the ILI regional centers and about the special programs we conduct all over the world. Or about our summer programs on U.S. Law and Legal English.

Ultimately, the Institute is about people, and you can meet them here: our staff, our faculty, and, of course, our participants from around the world.
