Uganda's Oil Needs to remain Companies Priority - Tullor Oil |
KAMPALA, Uganda, May 04, 2009 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Brian Glover, the country manager of U.K.-based Tullow Oil PLC (TUW.LY), said the needs of Uganda as a country remain the company's top priority.
Tullow Oil Uganda Ltd. operates two exploration blocks on the Ugandan
side of the Albertine rift, and continues to work closely with the
Ugandan government as Uganda seeks to exploit its oil reserves, Glover
told Dow Jones Newswires Sunday.
However, he couldn't reveal whether the company's early oil production
scheme, expected to start in the first quarter next year, is still on
course.
