| Diamond Trust Bank opens branch in Kitintale |
 Kampala: DIAMOND Trust Bank has opened a new branch in Kitintale, one of the surbabs east of the city. “This is part of our grand plan to roll out and take services closer to the masses, especially the unbanked communities,” George Mashashi, the executive director, said.
“We opened this branch after discovering that communities around
Kitintale and the neighbourhood have been neglected by the banking
industry,” Mashashi said.“Diamond Trust is here to serve people of all walks of life,” he said. “We believe that bringing banking services closer to the people improve their ability to save for investment.” He said the branch would offer all the traditional banking services. Mashashi said DTB which has five branches in Kampala is expected to open a further five branches.                |
