Condolences have come from various people and diginatories, including President Yoweri Museveni, Kabaka Mutebi, Toro Queen-mother Best Kemigisa, and other cultural and political leaders. Muloki took over the throne in 1995 after a bitter wrangle. In October 1995, the Government recognised him as the legitimate King of Busoga, following a legal opinion from the Attorney General.                |
The Kyabazinga (King) of Busoga Henry Wako Muloki has died after a long illness. He was sufferring from cancer of the oesophagus. He was 87. He passed away monday morning at Mulago Hospital.
