Uganda Bee-keepers to receive sh100m from UK |
 A UK bases non Governmental Organisation has offered to fund Uganda bee keepers to the tune of 100m in order to promote bees abroad. The project to be run by Emsco Development Foundation (EDF), will provide farmers with bee hives, honey buckets, smokers and harvesting veils. up to 250 bee keepers are to benefit.
“All our farmers have capacity to earn sh20m annually as recommended by
President Museveni under the Bonna Bagagawale (Prosperity for all)
Scheme. These farmers are just lazy. With hard work and regular
monitoring, they will be able to benefit from farming,” Kugonza said.
