|
The tour revealed shocking sights as manhole covers provoked questions about the work done by contractors. Residents have aggravated the situation as they continue to dump garbage into the drainage system, which has led to blockage of the drainage systems in the city. The residents are equally unhappy about the substandard work done by contractors. The deputy Mayor Florence Namyanja who led the inspection team, threatened to discontinue some of the contractors if the roads are not redone to the required standard. This amount is expected to raise the standard of the country's road network and maintenance. |
