| Inflation in Uganda on the rise. |
 Inflation in Uganda has steadily been rising and is currently running at 12.4% compared to 11.2 in the previous month of May. This is mainly due to higher fuel and food costs. Post election unrest in Kenya has also been blamed.
Kenya's inflation also rose to 31.5% while Tanzania was also on the rise. Recently, Tanzania has been forced to ban export of food to prevent drought hit area selling off food.                |
