| Uganda Schools to get low cost computers |

COMPUTER Aid International, a UK-based organisation, has signed an agreement with the Government and local agents to provide schools with computers cheaply. The agreement was signed recently at the launch of refurbished computers at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) board room in Kampala. The memorandum was signed between ICT minister Ham Mulira for the Government, Computer Aid International, and four local suppliers: Modest International (U) Limited, International Computer Experts’ Development Project and Modern Power and Telecom System (U). |
